プロフィール
1949年、愛知県生まれ。慶應義塾大学法学部卒業後、ベース奏者として「ファー・イースト・ファミリー・バンド」「観世音」などで活動したのち、
1979年、古民具市で不思議な楽器と天啓のようにして出会う。以来、名前もわからず、朽ちかけていたこの楽器を自身で修理、調弦、作曲し、独自の音世界を創り上げてきた。後になりこの楽器が中国の古典楽器「秦琴」という事を知る。
1986年、秦琴奏者として初アルバム『秦琴』をリリース。オリジナル作品はもとより、様々な作品のテーマ音楽を担当、
1986年、TBSラジオ「筑紫哲也のニュースジョッキー」のテーマ音楽、
1987年NHK大河ドラマ「武田信玄」挿入曲演奏、
1989年、坂東玉三郎舞台「玉三郎 in 姫路」音楽監督・作曲・演奏、
1995年〜1999年、NHKドラマ宮尾登美子三部作「蔵」「春燈」「櫂」テーマ曲、作曲・演奏、
2000年坂東玉三郎舞台「海神別荘」の作曲、
2006年、尾上松緑主演「夏の夜の夢・原作：シェークスピア」(東京日生劇場・大阪松竹座）の音楽を担当
など、絹糸を基にして様々なエフェクターや音響装置を用いて新しい音を創造してきたが、近年は電気的なものを一切捨て去り、マイクを用いず、演奏、歌、語り、全て生音で行っている。
現在、一枚のDVD、再発盤を含め、十五作品をリリースしている。
Aki Fukakusa Profile
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1949. After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Law, she worked as a bassist in bands such as "Far East Family Band" and "Kannon." In 1979, she had a miraculous encounter with a mysterious instrument at an antique market. Since then, she has repaired, tuned, and composed music for this instrument, which was decaying and whose name she didn't even know, creating her own unique sound world. Later, she learned that this instrument was a Chinese classical instrument called the "Qinqin."
In 1986, she released her first album as a Qinqin player, "Qinqin." In addition to original works, he has composed theme music for various productions, including the theme music for TBS Radio's "Tetsuya Chikushi's News Jockey" in 1986, the insert music for the NHK Taiga drama "Takeda Shingen" in 1987, music direction, composition, and performance for Tamasaburo Bando's stage production "Tamasaburo in Himeji" in 1989, theme music, composition, and performance for the NHK drama trilogy "Kura," "Shunto," and "Kai" based on works by Tomiko Miyao from 1995 to 1999, composition for Tamasaburo Bando's stage production "Kaijin Bessō" in 2000, and music for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (based on Shakespeare's work) starring Shoroku Onoe in 2006 (Tokyo Nissay Theatre and Osaka Shochikuza). While he has created new sounds using silk threads as a base and various effectors and sound equipment, in recent years he has completely abandoned electronic elements, performing, singing, and narrating entirely with live sound, without using microphones.
Currently, they have released fifteen works, including one DVD and reissues.
